How Yapping Clips handles your account data, videos and messages.

1. Service and contact
This policy applies to Yapping Clips at yappingclips.com. Send data questions and requests to [email protected] or use the contact form.
2. Data we process
Account details such as name, email and a password hash; videos, audio, transcripts, images, editing instructions and outputs; credit balance and usage history; technical processing and security records. If you contact us, we store the form fields and your message. Never include passwords or API keys in a support message.
3. Why we process data
We use this data to create and maintain your account, produce and deliver the videos you request, store versions, manage credits, recover access, prevent abuse and answer questions. Processing needed to provide the service is tied to your request and use of the service; optional project emails can be disabled in Settings.
4. Technical providers
Infrastructure uses Cloudflare for access and R2 storage, and Resend for transactional email. Depending on processing configuration, transcription or AI providers such as Deepgram, OpenAI, Anthropic or MiniMax and visual asset providers may be involved. Data is transmitted as needed for the requested function. Not every listed provider processes every video.
5. Your content and AI
You keep the rights to your content. Yapping Clips does not use your videos to train its own models or sell your videos. External provider processing is subject to their applicable terms; review your uploads and do not include information you are not entitled to share.
6. Security and email
Passwords are stored as hashes, recovery links are single-use, and project access is checked per account. Reset links expire in one hour and verification links in 24 hours. Resend receives the recipient and email content. Account and security emails are necessary; project and credit notifications can be disabled. No security measure provides an absolute guarantee.
7. Retention and deletion
Projects and outputs are retained to support access, downloads and revisions while needed to provide the service. Moving something to Trash does not itself permanently delete it. You can request deletion of your account and data; some technical, accounting or backup records may remain as necessary until rotation or removal. We do not promise an automatic deletion deadline unless explicitly shown in your account.
8. Requests about your data
You can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and raise other privacy requests available to you. Write to [email protected] from your account email; we may verify your identity to protect the data. Providers may operate in other countries; processing is subject to applicable obligations.
